Re: Using up Leftovers |
Hi Lemony, What a good idea. I have the same problem and wish when I work a kit that the numbers used were stated then I could order more beads to use them with the left overs. I like the idea of beaded beads. Happy beading. june |

Re: Using up Leftovers |
I really like beaded beads too. There are some very simple ones that only use a few beads. Otherwise save them up for "bead soup" necklaces. I keep my beads mostly in little lidded tubs with size, colour and where purchased, which is really helpful. |

Re: Using up Leftovers |
i love that title, we shall have to use it, if we may?! we have got a page on the Online Bead Club which will be devoted to tips and designs and we are just in the process of putting up some earring designs. we'll also get around to beaded beads in a few weeks, probably working with the blackberry idea, then you could do something like the Baubles bracelet which is a group of beaded beads and special beads. Meantime, why not use the Frills Bracelet design for leftovers? you could put all sorts into that. |

Re: Re: Using up Leftovers |
Hi thank you so much to everyone who has joined in with this thread :0) My colleague and I visit the web site very often and always have our next project in mind! Those little projects that might just fit into a rainy Bank Holiday afternoon when the bead shops are shut and there is no post but I Must Bead will be lovely :0) Of course use the title - I am pleased you like it! I'm just glad beads don't have a use-by date :0) Happy Beading! Lemony |
