| I've been trying to make a ring using Swarovski beads which I see a lot of other beaders selling online. I would have posted a picture but wasn't sure if I was allowed. It has a cube front which is made up 9 flowers, each flower being made of 4 Swarovski bicones with a seed bead in the center. I have tried making this but it never sits right on the finger. If anyone could help I'd be really grateful. |

| Why is there such a lack of patterns? I'm very new to beading but have completed a 2 day course, learnt about brick stick, ladder stitch, fringing, spiral twist and ogolala butterfly. I've completed two kits but where do I go from here? I bought a book because I'd like to make the items only to find they are just pictures without any pattern guidelines. I've searched most of the on-line companies and can find very little so please, what do you all do?? |

I have a lovely 40mm x 30mm lapis lazuli cabochon which I've had two attempts to bead around, using a netting stitch with picots - the thread is then pulled tight through the picots to draw the beadwork in. On the reverse of the cabochon (the flat side) this gives a lovely neat defined outline, but because the front then curves there seems to be a lot of surplus when the beadwork is gathered up. The instructions say to bead the same both sides, but how can I make it look neater at the front? Or is there a better, more foolproof way of beading a cabochon which looks neat from all angles?
Many thanks for you help, Debbie (Bollinger_Babe) |

I have been following instructions to make a beaded spiral bracelet but am struggling to make the spiral. I find it quite confusing looking at the diagram. Can anyone give me simple instructions? I am using 2 colours.
May sound like a strange question for the experienced but I will need this technique to make the handle for my beaded bag.
Thank you Stephanie |

I have never beaded before and have just bought the beaded Angel kit, which is lovely.
I'm stuck and need help.
I have put the 8 twisted bugles together and have started on the delica beads. I have done the top row, but do not understand the instructions from: Repeat from * to bead around the bugle body. You will need to add on the last DB, as it was the first one put on, simply settle it into place. Make another row in a similar fashion. Flatten the tube so that it lies flat, with four bugle beads in front and four behind.
Does this mean in just go along the top of the twisted bugles, then when I get to the end I just come back? This makes two rows? Then flatten to make the bugles four on each side? |
