What we are up to
Take a look at our new beady holiday! and this year's Masterclasses!
This year is rushing by as fast as ever - is it me or is life getting stuck in the fast lane? I am grateful though, I would hate to be twiddling my thumbs wondering what to do - no chance of that!
We have been kept very busy in the last few months with The Online Bead Club - no sooner have we got one month's offer ready then the next month has to be thought about and ordered! I'm very glad though that it has been so popular, and that so many of you are enjoying the really especial items that we have sourced or designed for you. I have been surprised though that some of the more off-beat (dare I say eccentric?) pieces have been the first to go! Very gratifying! If you haven't joined yet give it a try! not only are you getting a 10% discount on nearly all your orders but you get to view and buy some really lovely and individual beads that we can't put on our main website, and you will be the first to bead some of our fab new kits, and also to join in our Challenges and Forums - it's a Win Win Deal!
We're also busy working on a new paper catalogue, the first since 2005. We hope to have it ready by the end of the summer - but don't hold your breath, it's quite a massive undertaking! We will be changing the format of it slightly, and enlarging certain areas - particularly the Swarovski Crystals (check out the new pics on our website!) which we haven't been able to resist buying. Our plan is to keep the website constantly updated - so this is the place to go for new items and info on what's in, out or low of stock; and to see pics of the more boring but necessary items such as findings and sundries; but we know nothing beats sitting down with a cuppa and our lovely Sample Pages - and scheming and planning your new designs whilst comparing bead colours and shapes. We will put details onto the "Order a Catalogue" page (which you can find under the "About Us" button) as soon as we can, and how you can pre-order as there's bound to be a rush which we won't be able to keep up with!
Meanwhile, Happy Beading, Jill. |
